Hello everybody, my name is Lucia and I'm an English teacher in secondary school.
I have studied English for all my life, I guess, since I was eleven, but I felt a click, I felt that something was changing in my learning when I decided to live abroad for a while. You know that for Italian people it's so hard staying far away from home, but eventually I made it and the last year I lived in Ireland. It was a fab, wonderful and amazing period and actually this experience made the difference in my learning. The time I spent there was precious and it helped me to really understand the language and people. I worked in a secondary school as a special needs assistant. Therefore I was surrounded by a lot of stimolous. Believe me that, living in the context of the language, listening to the music, watching movies or even changing the language settings of your phone works. So I invite you to take advantage of all the tools we have today to improve your learning. It is a progressing training, it takes time but eventually you will reach out your goals.
As I always say to my students I work, you work and we work. So if we all work together we can have fun. About the lessons, we can have grammar sections, conversations, chats about Ireland if you like. It's up to you and I will follow you. Remember that you learn, but I also learn with and from you. It's a mutual cooperation.
