The format that I would use during our lessons is that after each chapter we will do a re-cap on what we have learned. You will write to me what details you had remember of the lesson that day. Any important details that you left out or forgot will then be taught back to you, as it would show to me what parts of the chapter that you may have a harder time learning/remembering.

We will of course do re-cap over the knowledge you know so that you don't forget, but with my lessons I will keep a close eye on what it is that you find hard to learn/remember.
There will be weekly test on the knowledge that had been taught that week and then after the chapter there will be a bigger test to exam how you did with that specific chapter.
I have tutored other young people when it came to biology and the constant fact checking over what we had learned and keeping and eye on what was difficult to learn for them, helped them significantly. Over a year of experience.
