I am a graduate of Penn State University and Webster University-Leiden Campus. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on US Politics and Military Affairs. I received my Master of Arts in International Relations with a focus on Global Economics and Political Affairs. For the past 16 years, I have traveled extensively, teaching formally in China, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia (as I am a certified ESL instructor). While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History, World Culture, World Religions, and Geography. In my years of teaching and I have always found the most success by challenging my students' assumptions about the world and our place in it. Such nuanced education is vital to prepare my students for the modern world. I also tutor students that are preparing to take the SAT, ACT, and TOEFL exams. These tests are always difficult so building my students' knowledge and practical skills are vital. I am a firm believer in education as it is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to illustrate this to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, photography, and both playing and watching sports of all types; though my favorite will always be American Football.
