Luca Jordan

Hi i am Luca, a native British English teacher from Leicester in England with over 10 years teaching in many countries around the world!
I started to work as a TEFL teacher when I first started backpacking in South America in 2012 whilst simultaneously learning Spanish, which has meant that I have developed my teaching style from the perspective of a new foreign language learner, often experiencing the same sort of problems as my students.
My teaching style is quite flexible and fun and always includes some games to keep the mood playful!
Unless students really don't like playing games, then we can be very serious!
We often look at articles or videos that cover subjects that are of interest to my students as individuals, this way they stay enthusiastic about the language learning!
I have a background in Theatre and a passion for writing poetry and a degree in Journalism so all elements of creative language usage come about in my classes.
I have also trained several students for the Cambridge First and Advanced certificate exams, so that is always a possibility too!
