First lesson will be introductions and getting to know each other for the first 10-15 minutes. From there, I will try to find areas that need improving by giving them a practice paper and having them go through some of the questions so I can learn what they need help with. I will also ask them what they want help with.

Future lesson will be on subjects they find challenging. I start with a 5 minute warm up activity to get them thinking and having some fun. Next, I will begin introducing the topic and explaining what we will be doing in the lesson. We will look at examples and/or work through questions together. I will then slowly help less and less so they can independently complete the questions.

If the student is struggling, I will provide additional help and alternative explanations. If the student is finding it too easy, I will provide more challenging questions to really test their skills.

To conclude the lesson, I will recap what we have learned and ask them what they have learned. I will also give feedback and what they did well and what they should practice more.
