There are many different approaches to teaching languages, but generally my methods of teaching English and Italian are based on a combination of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The main objective is to help students develop their understanding of English, both spoken and written, and to acquire the skills necessary to communicate effectively in everyday situations, whether academically or professionally.
Furthermore, I also apply more specific teaching methods, such as the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach in which students learn the language through the study of specific topics, such as science or history, and the TPR (Total Physical Response) in which students learn language through the use of physical actions.
In general, the method of teaching English or Italian depends on the needs of the students and the goals of the teacher. The important thing is that students feel involved and motivated, and that the teacher is able to adapt to their needs and help them achieve their learning goals.
It is my goal to engage students in learning the language through creativity, flexibility and attention to students' individual needs. With an engaging and motivating approach, students can achieve significant and lasting results in their English language learning.
Whoever studies a language with me will find:
- A relaxed and friendly atmosphere, so that students feel at ease and ready to actively participate in learning activities.
- Role-play activities, games, music and videos to make learning more interesting and engaging.
- Conversation and debate activities, where students can talk and practice their language skills.
- I use authentic materials, such as newspaper articles, videos, songs and podcasts, to help students develop their understanding of the English language in real life.
- Using technologies such as online language games, English learning apps and e-learning platforms to engage students and make them more active in their learning.
- Topics that interest students and are relevant to their experiences and interests, so they can feel engaged and motivated to learn.
