Being a native speaker of British English,
I can offer tutoring to show you how to understand both grammar and the vernacular. The complexities of the colloquial can be frustrating for those with English as a second language. British English was formed over many centuries and is a mueli of both native and invaders languages. Thus, to preserve the continuity folks over time employed devices to aide understanding; many common sayings and slang were used and also they incorporated similes and allegoric language in their everyday communications .
