Lessons are interactive and tailored around the individual needs of students. All lessons will take into account the learning styles/ needs of students and will include a range of engaging tasks and activities to enhance learning and knowledge. Whether students struggle with reading, writing, comprehending tasks or putting their responses onto paper- I am able to help! Sessions may include: essay writing, revision of texts, revision techniques, comprehension, analysis, cv writing, structuring of responses to meet the requirements of exam boards to name a few. If held online, students will be able to access lessons via Google classroom including an interactive white board and all resources needed for the session. Additional follow on/ homework tasks can also be made available to consolidate and further learning from sessions. Typically, lessons will last 1 hour however this can be flexible and adjusted to students need and can be delivered weekly or fortnightly. With over 9 years of teaching experience and 4 years of experience as an examiner, it is my passion to support and guide students to realise and work towards their true potential. I have much experience with a variety of ages, abilities and learning needs both in a school setting and through my tutoring. This has allowed me the opportunity to develop a clear understanding of how to adapt and therefore given me the ability to be able to help as many students as I can- regardless of their target grade or circumstances.
