Hello! My name is Louise, I’m a 23 year old, Cyber Security Management Student that has recently completed 4 years at Bournemouth University. In my final year, I was employed by the university to deliver lectures to first and second year students. I possess 11 GCSEs all between A* and C, a BTEC (graded at a distinction*) in Computing and have been working at a First at University.
My teaching style is very interactive, I like to engage with the students as much as I can, whether this is through discussions and debates or through gamification to make the lessons fun! I’m happy to accommodate your child’s learning style to ensure they get the best out of child.
Through solidifying the theory behind concepts then engaging in interactive activities consolidates understanding in the subject area and allows your child to go off and apply it to a multitude of scenarios.
I believe (like most) practice makes perfect, so incorporating exam questions into lessons is essential. Understanding what the exam board is looking for by looking at the mark scheme will help your child deliver the best results in exams. Not only will they have the knowledge to tackle exam questions, but they will possess the skills to deliver their answers properly to maximise their grades.
I am also open to providing careers advice and helping your child understand where their talents lie. By visualising their goals and understanding how to achieve them will only motivate them to work at their best.
