Everyone can be motivated to learn. My lessons are learner-led so that students are always motivated to learn, via motivators that work for them. The aim of my lessons is to help students overcome their barriers and build skills based on their strengths. This is done via continuous rapport building and evaluation so that support for students is tailor-made to meet their changing needs. I am flexible to provide tutoring that meets the individualised of each student. Both learning skills that matter to students and their overall well-being are of utmost importance and thus are the core of my support to all learners.

I am also a BCBA (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst) trained in Behaviour Analysis which involves the principles of learning theory. Where appropriate, behavioural strategies are incorporated in my tutoring support for learners/students who present special education and health needs, however with or without any diagnosis. Examples are developmental delay, mental health e.g. depression, anxiety, etc., and diverse conditions e.g. ADHD, autism, etc.

As a Specialist Mentor – Mental Health (SM-MH), I provide mentoring support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in universities in line with their specific needs. Tailored support to students (aged 18 to 52) includes developing skills at organisation, coping, self-management, increasing psychological flexibility, independence, problem-solving, identifying and overcoming barriers etc.

I have enhanced DBS check. Concessions are available. Please feel free to message me to discuss.
