As previously mentioned I have experience tutoring A-Level and GCSE students both 1 on 1 and in small groups. My preferred method is to make sure you understand the concept/topic instead of memorising how to solve different problems. I achieve this by first trying to identify what part of a topic you may be struggling with, then after doing my best to teach this to you I will walk through a problem based of this topic step by step. Then I will have you do the same, you'll solve a problem step by step as if your trying to teach me. I'm a firm believer in the idea of the best way to understand something and never forget it is to teach another person. We will continue like this working through different problems until I can tell your confident enough to move on.
