Louis Hawkes

Hi there, my name is Louis and I am a private tutor for Spanish.

My aim is to broaden your knowledge of Spanish not only to improve your language skills, but also to allow you to become passionate for language learning and the Spanish culture. My lessons will be interesting and will explore a vast range of topics, from Spanish culture, regional differences, grammar amongst many others.

I have previously taught in a Spanish primary school in the Valencian province of Spain, in which I helped teach English. This job was very important to me as it allowed me to delve into the world of teaching and gain first-hand experience. Moreover, I was able to obtain many skills, such as interpersonal, communicational and teaching skills. The things I learnt have allowed me to tailor my teaching styles to be interesting and also fun.

I do hope that I am able to spark your interest in Spanish, as my interest was sparked due to the wonderful teachers around me who really gave me a push to learn Spanish.
