It depends a lot on the subject matter and since the subjects I can teach range from French to Sciences, the lessons would vary. I think having a conversation about the subject and then trying to work out a question would be the beneficial method of study but, then again, the method of learning will vary from person to person. I'm happy to go through homework and any revision given by the school and break that down with the student. Repetion will be key and so I envisage a lot of screwed up bit of a paper- and that's fine! I'm still young enough that I find it really easy to talk to students. I know how they think, I remember what worked for me and I understand how to communicate hard concepts to them so that they can be broken down and better understood.
