I will be aiming to use engaging PowerPoint slides for my lessons. These will be around areas that potential students feel like they need the most help with in their academic studies. I will aim to create these around what a potential student is hoping to learn about. These could revolve around specific sociological theories, the theorists who created them, or even go into detail on how to write an essay that can achieve a first.

I have been greatly successful with presenting and designing presentations, achieving a grade of 92% in a sociology module. I also had to create a presentation for my PhD proposal, which I am hoping to do next year. The feedback I received on this presentation, and my successful application, was that it was one of the best presentations that they had had.

Whilst I am the tutor, there will also be room for a more seminar-like discussion point so that my potential students will be able to put across their own ideas. This is not only beneficial for students as a way to get their thoughts across, but it will also be helpful for me to tailor lessons to the individual and work out what essay writing method would work best with their style.
