I'm here to help with Politics specifically but also your writing as well - I can help you with written work to help you become a more effective communicator. As someone who wrote a 98,000 word PhD thesis, I know it's not always easy work!

I very much prefer my lessons to be both visual and practical. I myself learn best through doing, even if this means failing and making mistakes, as it is the quickest and easiest way I learn. Everyone is different, of course, so you may have a learning style that works better for you, in which case I will gladly adhere to that. You know how you like to work best, me forcing my own way of working onto you may not be the solution you need, so we have to work around your preferences!

I like fun lessons too! I want to have fun teaching and I want you to have fun learning. If this means appropriate GIFs to go along with content, then so be it. If it means you have to hear my terrible jokes, then so be it too!

I am very experienced with teaching, having taught or assisted with modules at a university level since 2020. I have run seminars for 20-40 students at once, delivered lectures, supervised research groups, and supervised university theses. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy as well, which, in conjunction with my university teaching experience, hopefully highlights my commitment to best practise and quality education. I have a Politics BA, a Computer Science MSc, and a Politics PhD, all obtained from Swansea University, and I want to put them into additional use my helping the next generation of political scientists achieve their dreams!
