About me

I gave french lessons to a class of Year 6 children, as well as one to one classes to children aged 7-16 years old. I implement a wide range of exercises depending on the child's capacity and willingness to learn. The most important lesson is to teach the child to enjoy learning, and everything else follows. I adapt the content and the dynamics depending on the demand

Lou-ann is always prepared for lessons, and makes them engaging and different each time, with games and French music being some of the favourites. She is also very friendly, and replies quickly outside of lesson time. It’s a pleasure having her as a French tutor!

She is very thoughtful, instructive and kind. She has patience, and great support skills, which I found instrumental when learning French from her. Being fluent in the language and having studied it at school, there is no better person who could have taught me the scholarly, and conversational skills needed to uphold myself in France. She is a wonderful teacher!
