My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and designed to make art and art history come alive for students. I blend interactive lectures with hands-on activities to provide a well-rounded learning experience. In each session, we explore artistic techniques, styles, and movements while placing them within their historical, cultural, and social contexts. This approach helps students see art not just as objects of beauty but as powerful reflections of the world.

I typically structure my lessons in three parts: an introduction to key concepts or themes, an in-depth exploration of selected artworks, and a practical or discussion-based activity. For instance, we might study Impressionism by analyzing works by Monet and Renoir, followed by a creative exercise where students create their own impressionistic sketches. And ending with a discussion, debate, or multimedia resources such as videos and virtual museum tours that are integral to the experience.

With years of studying art and art history in both academic and studio settings, I emphasize critical thinking and personal expression. I encourage my students to develop their unique perspectives while building technical skills and deepening their appreciation of art history. Whether working with beginners or advanced learners, I tailor each lesson to individual needs and interests, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment.

Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and confidence, enabling students to connect with art on a personal level while understanding its broader significance in human history. My lessons are a journey into the fascinating interplay between art and culture, designed to enrich both the mind and the soul.
