I believe that passion is the first place to start when creating! In order to cater to each pupils needs we can discuss what sort of art make them excited! When we have established that we can then move on to technique and theory. Learning like this will help to keep each student interested. Creativity shouldn't be boxed in so I'm happy to cover any medium that suits you too! Even when covering specific homework or projects there is always a way to make this personal and engaging. I believe colour theory is such an important element of learning an art practice so I would also cover theory topics such as this when starting too. I want these lessons to be not only helpful but a safe place to create and have fun in order to build up skills successfully and smoothly. My lessons will also be an absolutely judgement free zone, so no matter what skill level each student is working at I am here to help guide and teach them new techniques and ways of thinking about the image. I also have some knowledge of Home education as my close family have been involved in it for many years. I would also love these lessons to fit a home educated schedule and way of working, as I understand that the needs of home educated children and teenagers can be a little different! I hope that through my passion and understanding for art, that I can help to inspire and push the next generation of creatives to become the best they can be.
