I have years of experience tutoring and have specialised in chemical education for my Masters this year. Consequently, I promote the importance of growth mindset teaching and patience with students, to be balanced with appropriate challenge.

I aim to inspire students, by making our lessons relevant to the world around them, inspiring scientific curiosity and problem solving alongside specific subject knowledge.

The best strategy for learning chemistry is to initially focus on the consolidation of the underpinning core concepts such as atoms, molecules and mole calculations. From a solid understanding of these concepts we can then move to the more specialised topics, finally focusing on exam techniques and wording to ensure that students are getting maximum marks in their exams.
