I am a University Lecturer with 18 years of experience teaching both theory and practical students in a wide range of subjects relating to animal science. I have taught under 18 years old college students and undergraduate students. I am also a Programme Leader, a qualified A1 Assessor, a Personal Tutor and a Teacher Training Mentor.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science, PGCE (postgraduate teaching qualification) and PGDip in Animal Behaviour. My subject specialisms are Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Training, Animal Cognition, Behavioural Ecology, plus subjects such as Biology, Animal Health and Disease Management.

For the past 5 consecutive years I have been awarded a Grade 1 (excellent) lesson observation award and Lecturer of the Year award. I have been fully trained in terms of Safeguarding (keeping children safe in education), equality and diversity, teaching ESOL students and teaching students with mental health conditions, and/or learning difficulties.
