I've only worked as a teaching assistant but I have alot of patience especially with early years children I find it a very rewarding job and I enjoy to help children or adults grow to succeed and I feel I have alot to offer my dream has always been to teach English to students where English is their second language. I have very good organisational skills and I'm very good at multi tasking and I have alot of empathy and care to help others to do well. I haven't actually done a lesson myself but when I worked as a teaching assistant I did individual group work and did one to one with a little boy who had autism so I was left planning work for him and as you know with a child that has learning difficulties you need to have alot of patience and making sure the work is made more simple as they often find it hard and need work made for their own individual understanding. I helped the teacher to organise and plan lessons with numeracy and literacy, we did classroom displays which was alot of fun and the children really found it interesting and you really got their full attention. We also did science projects where I helped the children find pictures and cut them out and stick them in their book and write some words to describe what the picture is. I enjoyed working at the school I really learnt alot and enjoyed working with the children.
