As a Law student working towards a 1:1 in her degree, I have a fresh understanding of the law and key legal concepts. As well as this, I have experience working with Citizens Advice utilising civil law to help clients with their queries. During a session with me, the student is expected to readily identify the subjects in which they are weakest in so that I can centre my sessions to develop these areas. There will be a key focus on essay writing and planning as well as recalling the facts of cases and key judgement's. Students with me will be expected to have a great understanding of the mark scheme of their exam board so that students understand exactly what is expected during an exam. Each session will end with the student writing a sample paragraph to ensure that they have understood the content of the topic, and how to apply this information and to exercise their critical analysis in essays.
