I like to tailor my lessons to my individual student whether that is a very structured lesson plan or an exploration of the subject with much more flexibility.

I like to focus on what the student is struggling with and boost confidence in the specific subject at multiple levels. That could be general study skills, improvement to understanding, confidence with own knowledge.

Flexibility is definitely the key for me I've even done mathematics in Minecraft! Whatever the student is most interested in and engaged with. We don't have to sit at a desk for 2 hours straight if that doesn't work for the student.

I have lots of experience teaching in multiple settings. I have run classes on journalism and professional writing, taught university level chemistry, GCSE chemistry, maths at university. I have also done lots of work with younger students helping them to explore the subject they're most interested in and preparing them with extra knowledge outside the classroom.
