I am passionate about history, studying a plethora of topics throughout school and carrying it onto sixth form. I have a past of tutoring GCSE students helping them all pass their exams- getting above a grade 4 (C). I also am happy to tutor English. I tend to use a format which allows me to share my knowledge first and break it down into smaller segments, making it engaging for the student by constantly asking for additional knowledge or opinions. I will set weekly tasks depending on what your personal goal is- from Essay work to trying to find out a few new pieces of information. Being a very friendly outgoing person the dynamic of my lesson is usually conversational and transactional but depending on the student my lessons will differ and be made specifically. Furthermore - I will learn how to student learns as an individual and crafting specific tasks to them in order to help them achieve the most progress possible. As a tutor my main goal is to motivate and educate, we will not get anywhere if I cannot build up a bond and confidence within the learning.
