I am a student currently studying abroad in Texas after sitting my A-levels last year. I have a good base of knowledge as I was part of the chemistry tutoring system within my school which produces over 80% A or above grades at both GCSE and A-level. This experience paired with my time teaching as a member of the RAF cadets instructors within my school has given me a unique insight into structuring content that may come across as hard into manageable hurdles after working closely with instructing staff with over 25+ years of experience in both the cadets and their respective subjects. This connection has allowed me continue working with teachers in the chemistry department at my previous school to maintain my knowledge of the A-level syllabus and continue to work with the tutoring programme internally for the school.
My teaching style and lessons are based on my firm belief that a strong knowledge base must be developed within am subject based on easier concepts before pushing harder topics too soon. This is especially important with A-level content as the syllabus moves extremely fast and extra assistance was a requirement for myself and others to cover the content.
