I have experience in helping people get into medical school which has been helped by my excellent communication skills.
My lessons would focus on exam technique, this not only improves students confidence when going into their lessons or exams but it is also an effective technique in getting the best results in exams. Working on exam technique could involve familiarizing the students with the format of exams, knowing the way the mark schemes work and practicing exam questions from past papers.
I am a strong believer in how much active recall can benefit students, especially in science subjects at any level so I like to involve this as much as I can in the lessons.
Having been through the education system very recently, I have found a lot of online resources to help me through this journey and I would love to pass this knowledge on to help others too.
