My lessons are always broken down into small chunks so that content is built up slowly. A warm up or ice breaker (small fun task) is always used at the start of each lesson. The main part of the lesson is always broken down so that progress can be made with confidence. I use lots of stimulus and encourage my students to be involved in the topics that I teach. By finding out what my students enjoy, my lessons are always relevant and fun. As I am an experienced teacher I don't always stick rigidly to the lesson plan, I am able to deviate and will always set short, medium and log term goals that are achievable. As I have taught for thirty years in secondary education I am comfortable with working towards exams and using past material to prepare for assessments. I have an easy going manner and a passion for teaching.
