My experience in GCSE edexcel maths and AQA geography has gone beyond GCSE by continuing to study both for A levels as well as receiving GCSEs all 7-9. This therefore had allowed for my expertise to grow greater in these areas to effectively teach these subjects. Being amongst grammar school teachers I am aware and experience in what ways are effective in teaching and resources that can help enhance understanding.

My lessons will be personalised based around the students needs and wants and topic areas they feel weakest on and use strategies effective for the student to help
learn and understand the concepts. As well as regularly giving mini testing on a regular basis to understand the areas of improvement and to help excel in these subjects. I will keep in frequent regular touch with the student to see how they are getting on and once they have taken mock examinations either with me or in school to reflect on areas well performed and areas of development and focus on these aspects to help the students also become an expert in these subject areas.

These subjects may be an area of dislike to some students or an area of difficulty and I will help these students to reach whatever goal they want to achieve and support them throughout the process as well as by providing motivation. I will be there for students to provide all the needs they require, answer any questions they need and provide them with resources they feel could help them in the future.
