I teach via Microsoft Teams, and begin the session going through the theory of whatever topics the student would like to cover. I then go over multiple worked examples, explaining in detail how to approach questions, what knowledge is needed and how to apply it, and, where applicable, what the mark distribution may be in an exam. Then the student has the chance to practice this themselves, where they can double check things with me and begin to build confidence in the subject, before approaching questions completely by themselves. Mark schemes will always be covered and explained where applicable, and every question they complete in the session is marked.
