Hi, I’m Lisa Rahimi – a passionate and experienced tutor who supports students aged 11 to 18 in Maths, English, and Economics, from Key Stage 3 right through to GCSEs and A-Levels.
With several years of teaching experience in English Linguistics at Tayyibun, I help students sharpen their reading, writing, and analytical skills—whether they’re tackling Shakespeare or structuring essays.
I also hold a First-Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance, giving me a strong background in both logical thinking and numerical problem-solving. From algebra to data analysis, I make sure students fully grasp key Maths concepts and build lasting confidence.
Currently, I’m completing my PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), so I’m up to date with the national curriculum and trained in the most effective, modern teaching strategies. I also hold a Master’s degree in Religious Studies, which helps me approach education with empathy, patience, and a holistic mindset.
My teaching is tailored to each student’s needs. Whether they’re visual learners, need help staying focused, or want to push ahead, I adapt my methods to suit them. I use a mix of PowerPoint/Word resources, interactive activities, and past paper practice to make learning engaging and exam-focused.
