Hello! I am a newly qualified primary school teacher and I have experience teaching children from the ages 3-11 in both the Early Years curriculum and the National Curriculum. I am a very visual teacher which is shown in my PowerPoint for each lesson. I have access to different resources for each subject which are beneficial for everyone. I am also able to adapt my lessons for different needs, whether that be an eye-sight impairment, learning in short bursts with more breaks, breaking concepts down and more.

I like to make learning as fun as possible so I use lots of fun activities to encourage children to learn and to keep them engaged. A typical 60 minute session would include:

- a 5/10 minute introduction/starter
- 15 minute activity
- 5 minute break
- 20 minute activity/worksheet
- 10 minute recap/questions/concerns for next session

I am quite a laid back teacher and I am happy to be a bit more informal during sessions. I believe that children are more likely to retain information when they have a good rapport with their teachers and the lessons are fun, however, I will still ensure that the children are getting the most out of each sessions.
