I'm currently a student at UWE going into Robotics Engineering after my foundation program. My love for maths and physics blossomed during my IGCSE years. This is ironic because they were the subjects I loathed the most but passed with flying colors. I intended to teach students in a way where even if maths isn't their favorite subject, they won't groan at the sight of numerical problems.

Serving as a student mentor at the very education center where I completed my IGCSE studies, I found immense fulfillment in guiding and supporting students. As well as working with colleagues who were once my mentors.
This volunteering process not only allowed me to contribute to academic success, it also rekindled my passion for learning. It was a moving experience that healed my mindset and strengthened my resolve to pursue further opportunities for the academic success of others. Furthermore, while helping others, I am indirectly revising my past syllabuses.
I agree that one-to-one lessons with tutors are more effective and create a close relationship between the student and tutor. For my lessons, online and offline, I will make sure students understand the concept during the session and give a fair amount of homework to practice on. I will use Google Classroom as a learning medium where I can check students' progression, marks, and submissions and upload PowerPoint slides and personalized notes students can look back any time. I will give everything as I can from my side and I'm hopeful that students can return that by satisfactory grades.
As the old saying goes; "Practice makes Perfect."
