Linda D'argenio

I am an Italian and Mandarin teacher with over twenty years of professional experience at the school and college levels. During my career, I have successfully taught both languages to students with a large range of learning capabilities by personalizing and differentiating instruction according to students’ needs. For beginners and intermediate levels, I specialize in language acquisition with TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling,) a methodology focused on communication and Comprehensible Input. You'll be able to formulate simple sentences in the second language after JUST ONE HOUR of instruction! If you are already at an intermediate to advanced level, I will engage you in conversations about your topics of interest, guide you through the reading of literary works, or help you refine your writing skills.
