I have 6 years of experience in teaching English as a second language to people that come from different countries( ).

My method consists of improving the student's sentence structure with simple grammar exercises and then teaching them how to use them in conversation. I like to also use videos when needed and to make the lesson more dynamic.
I help them improve their pronunciation in every lesson by correction any pronunciation mistakes they make. Practicing writing is important as well and I do it with simple exercises also.
I use presentations also as a support to my lessons and not as a focus.

In a nutshell I troubleshoot, identify student's needs and priorities and build on that. When I give examples to explain difficult topics, I do that by giving the student something they could relate to and not an abstract example they wouldn't understand.
I usually crack jokes with students because they learn better when they are in a good mood. I am more than a teacher, I am your friend who is helping you learn a language to help you find a job, travel the world or simply watching a movie without the need to turn the subtitles on.
I will also help you gain confidence when speaking English even when making mistakes- because if you never practice you will never how to speak fluently.
My method is to be simple and efficient because learning 3 words a day you understand very well and know how to use is better than learning 10 words and forgetting everything the next day.
