I am native Spanish speaker. My previous jobs include experience with teaching English as Foreign language in elementary, Secondary and Tertiary Education institutions. I am highly skilled in leveraging TESOL methodologies, instructional technology, and differentiated learning techniques to help students comprehend and retain lecture objectives. I have also designed learning and assessment materials with educational purposes.

I feel suitable for this position as I have worked for a long time as virtual instructor or tutor at one important institution in my home country, so I have knowledge about how to create and adapt instructional content to the virtual learning environment, and how be a facilitator in my students’ leaning process by using different ICT tools and teaching methodologies to engage students in their learning process.

I know how to motive students by using gamification software in order to make lessons more comfortable and funnier. I plan my lessons following the communicative approach in which the focus of the lesson is to perform a meaningful activity which is done to communicate something. Some examples of the activities are: discussions, role plays, simulation of real-life situations and solving a problem at work, home or school. The materials used in lessons must be authentic and taken generally from real life situations. Besides, the lessons are going to be learner-centered and I am going to be a facilitator of knowledge and contents using technological tools to enhance motivation and connect students to what they do every day.
