Before lessons start, we will have an initial, informal meeting to discuss what level you are currently studying Psychology at e.g., GCSE, to gauge an idea of teaching level for myself. If you are studying Psychology through A-levels or GCSE, we will find out what examination board you are under in case past papers need to be accessed and to understand what topics you are studying. For those studying Psychology at University level or adults interested in learning about the topic, we can discuss your main interests and what modules you are currently studying. Once I know the areas you need help in, whether that is learning in greater depth about topics in Psychology, or helping to structure or write your essays, lessons can begin. I will ensure they are interactive and as fun as possible so that you feel comfortable and enjoy the lessons. I believe it is incredibly important you feel you are getting the most out of your lessons; therefore, feedback and letting me know what you want to work on is vital. As a recent graduate, I understand that at times, concepts in Psychology can be difficult to grasp and understand how to structure essays and capture what you want to convey is tricky; therefore, I want to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable in expressing any challenges you face. I am a chatty and bubbly character; therefore, I am keen to ensure students are comfortable and feel they can ask any questions they want. With my extensive background in Psychology, I will be able to aid students in a wide variety of topics in Psychology, ensuring that between lessons, I can set tasks e.g., creating mini-essays, for students to work on to build their knowledge and writing skills in Psychology. I am keen to get started in helping students learn about the fascinating field of Psychology and I hope you will consider me as your tutor.
