I am a 16 year old Art textiles A-level student having completed my Art Textiles GCSE with an A (grade8) last year. All my lessons will be fun, creative and energetic, focusing on inspiring your creativity. For secondary school and GCSE students the main lesson objectives will be to focus on coming to understand your strengths and skills and developing these qualities further to a higher standard that is compatible with the learning objectives in the GCSE course. Hitting these learning objectives provided by your exam board will help you know where you can earn more marks. We will also work together to expand your range of techniques and knowledge on artists as artist research and your reaction to their work is a big portion of the marks for the course. For younger students of primary school age (3-11) my focus will be to teach you how to express yourself and your feelings through art and creativity. I believe this is an essential, under appreciated skill that can be incredibly beneficial to all young children, especially those who may find it hard to express themselves. It can particularly have a positive impact on neurodivergent and/or children with learning difficulties but is also a great escape for children who may be experiencing a hard time at school or home. Art and expression through art as well as helping others are huge passions of mine having wished for support in these areas myself growing up. I have previous experience working with children as I have been an assistant ballet teacher at Ella Morgan School of Classical Russian Ballet for 3 years. Through this I have taught children how to express themselves through dance and prepare for examinations, performances and competitions between the ages of 2 and 9. As well as this I have volunteered as an assistant football coach through my Duke of Edinburgh Award for ages 5-9. I hope through my description my passion for the subject and educating others is clear and you will consider me as your tutor. I look forward to hearing from you! My CV and art portfolio is available upon request. Thank you!
