Online A-Level Tutor Kurosawa

I passed Grade 8 piano with distinction last year and am working towards my Diploma at the university of Southampton whilst studying a BA in music. I have been teaching for the past five years and have taught many students of different backgrounds, levels and ages.
As a young teacher, I can relate to my students very well, making sure that I encourage them as much as possible and don't deter them from playing in any way. I make sure the students are enjoying playing and developing their passion for music as much as they are growing technically as musicians.
For beginner and younger students I use the bastien piano books as it encourages fun learning and allows to develop essential knowledge and techniques gradually. I have experience teaching ABRSM grades also however I encourage students to learn a song/piece along side the systematic teaching books or grades as I know a lot of cases when people stop enjoying practicing as they don't have interest in the pieces they get told to play.
I sit down with students and teach at their pace of learning to allow them to comprehend new knowledge and for them to develop their techniques. I have helped many of my students to be able to sight read fluently, however I will tailor my teaching to your interest and ability.
The ability to play the piano will open your world and I would love to share my passion with you and help you to become the musician you want to be! I have had excellent feedback from past and current students who all make outstanding progress and enjoy my teaching.
