I have a love for English and have a degree in English literature. The structure of my lessons will be adapted to fit the individual needs of my students and how they prefer to be taught in the most effective way. I am eager to help, not only during the tutor hours, but outside of learning time as well, through email and am willing to answer any questions at all times. I can teach students of all ages at any stage of their learning. Though my focus is usually English literature I can also tutor English language lessons or a mixture of both. Advancement of writing skills, reading comprehension, grammar and critical thinking are guaranteed with my tutor sessions, as well as a comfortable and friendly environment for the student to allow open conversations about their learning. Home tasks outside of tutor time can also be set if it is found necessary or a want of the learning individual. I have experience with tutoring other students at my university, in addition to helping younger students to gain confidence in their English writing and reading skills, as well as with their schoolwork. My tutor lessons can range in length time depending on what is preferred by the student and can be at any time of day to fit their needs. I also like to make my sessions fun for the student so that they find the subject of English enjoyable and the learning easier, whilst being pushed to work at the best of their potential.
