I structure my lessons around the exact needs of each student, focusing on areas they struggle with most. I understand that every student learns differently and so I will work with you to find a method that suits you best; whether that is revision techniques or coursework skills. As I cater the lessons for each student, it is important to outline your goals and establish your current understanding. From here we will go over topic content, practice questions and coursework or essay writing skills. I am also happy tutoring younger students to improve basic writing skills, preparing for SATs or preparing for secondary school entrance exams. Having completed English language and literature IGCSE and English Literature A Level, I am confident in areas from poetry and anthologies to plays and novels. I understand school can be stressful and so I want to make sure tutoring is comfortable and confidence boosting so you can flourish in your academic endeavours! I have experience tutoring younger students when I was at school and look forward to continuing my tutoring experience whilst at university. I completed my A Levels in 2021 receiving an A* in English Literature, A* in Maths, A in Biology and A* in EPQ. I then took a year out where I did Camp America, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and so have experience interacting with children ages 4-16. I am currently in my second year of an integrated Masters degree of MSci Marine Biology at the University of Southampton which I love.
