I'm an Oxford Graduate and current Master's student at Trinity College Dublin with several years of tutoring experience in a variety of subjects including English Literature, creative writing, Latin, Ancient Greek and GCSE sciences. I have taught students from as young as eight years old, as well as teenagers and adults. I have experience working in a variety of educational settings from volunteering in a programme in Singapore to help students who were struggling with literacy to working in a SEN school in London with children with autism and other additional needs. I pride myself on tailoring my lessons to the individual needs of the student to ensure that they have an engaging and enjoyable experience as well as an educational one. All the resources and supplementary materials that I make for lessons are custom made to suit the interests and abilities of the specific student, and I am flexible with the length of my lessons. The standard length would be an hour but for younger children that would include a short break in the middle. When teaching languages in particular, I make my materials with the textbook(s) the student is using in school in mind, in order to streamline their experience, use familiar language and examples, and avoid unnecessary confusion.
