I am new to tutoring but have experience working with people in the hospitality industry as well as with children specifically. Lessons are incredibly flexible to suit the needs of each student, with a mixture of activities that will help the student begin to enjoy the more difficult subjects. They may consist of detailed explanations of difficult concepts, guided exam practice to help build confidence, and some fun games. I have always had a passion for learning new things but understand that it can be difficult to be excited about a subject when it is hard to master, which is why first and foremost my aim is to provide one on one teaching that gets to the heart of the subject and explains concepts slowly and thoroughly where they may be skipped over or misunderstood in a class setting. Building up confidence is important and I will help guide students as they improve in their subject, and hopefully begin to understand and enjoy the topics, allowing them to apply their knowledge and skills to class and exam settings. I am flexible in terms of subjects so do contact me if you are struggling with something other than science, as I am also competent with maths, English, German, and geography. Communication is key and I welcome feedback and enjoy working with both students and parents as learning is a journey that should be enjoyed by all, and I sincerely hope that I can assist with this and spark a passion for the subject!
