My lessons will be centered around conversation techniques and building on accents. I have taught like this previously and found it very useful for students. It is also very good to keep people engaged as we can have conversations about any topic with some corrections from the teacher as they speak. Lessons like this can be tailored to all ages and levels and are very engaging as we can talk about anything that comes to mind! It is also very good for me to hear the level of accent or language level of each student to know how to approach corrections and lessons with each individual. I aim to make all of my lessons catered for the individual taking on any of their needs and assessing the situation as best as I can with this technique. In my experience, this is a highly effective way of learning and teaching a new language to people who are willing to learn something new! We will go through short readings or articles to get used to reading and writing which we will expand on throughout the classes we do together. Content will be decided together with conversations and with me getting to know the interests of my students. I am to create a good energy class where the student is always engaged and interested and the student is able to speak to me about anything - any worries or any topics they would like to cover to ensure they are always learning to the best of their abilities!
