I like to focus my lessons completely around you and your needs with the subject.
Normally, before the lesson, I will ask what area you'd like to focus on in the lesson and based on that, I will prepare a short presentation to run through the basics.
Throughout our lesson, I'll ask questions to make sure you're following along okay, and this is totally informal, so you can feel free to jump in with questions whenever as well!
Near the end of sessions, I like to go through some exam-style questions with you to check understanding and also to make sure you're developing good exam technique with me.
I'm super patient and kind, and used to tailoring my classes to individuals, because everyone's learning needs are different.
I hope to be not just a tutor, but also a friendly mentor if that's something you want. I'm more than happy to give advice about school in general and possible future pathways too, as I'm passionate about helping people live lives that feel happy and fulfilled!
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, with a good track record for helping people get top grades too, so I hope you will trust me with your Biology education alongside school!
My schedule is also very flexible, and I am not too strict at all - it's your choice whether or not you get homework from me!
