I am extremely skilled at planning, preparing, resourcing and developing lessons and activities that are personalised to my pupils' needs to ensure that they meet their next steps and move towards meeting their full potential. In my classes, I use a range of tools, techniques and resources to engage my pupils and ensure that the teaching and learning is interactive and fun. Some of these will include flashcards, books, songs, props and games and will be adapted and chosen to support the interests and needs of each pupil. Some of these resources will be materials that I have made myself to support the teaching and learning of new concepts, vocabulary and ideas, and other resources will be online which I can share with you through a shared screen and through sending links. I can teach on a variety of platforms such as Skype and Zoom and can run lessons for 30 minutes to an hour depending on age, capability, engagement, focus and time available for each student.

Since gaining my level 5 TEFL certificate, I am now supporting the teaching and learning of English online whether this be for phonics, early understanding of reading and writing, comprehension, pronunciation, grammar or conversational skills and offer this to all ages. I am confident teacher of young children as well as beginner and intermediate levels of English and those who are wanting to practice their conversational English.
