As a friendly, enthusiastic educator, it is my priority to not only ensure your child leaves each session with new knowledge but also with improved confidence and a sense of enjoyment. Learning is most memorable when it is fun and leaves you wanting to know more! I will take the time to build strong, trusting relationships with both yourself and your children.
Though my experience is primarily with children of Key Stage 2 age, I would be more than willing to support younger children too.
I received my Postgraduate Certificate in Education and Qualified Teacher Status with the Wildern Partnership SCITT in Hampshire, before working as a Year 4 Class Teacher in a 2-form entry school. Many of my students have had English as an Additional Language or additional learning needs that I am comfortable adjusting my lessons to suit.
Prior to qualifying, I worked as a Tutor Leader and English and Maths Tutor for the charity organisation Tutors United. Here I tutored in small groups both in person and online, and delivered live webinars to up to 50 young people across the country.
