I worked as an outdoor instructor for 3 years while undertaking my Bachelor's Degree, as well as my Masters's degree. This gave me an excellent viewpoint on how children need different styles of education in order to thrive, which is why I've signed up to help. I have a head for maths (my minor at degree level was in mathematics), as well as degrees in Politics and International Relations, and a further postgraduate degree in International Relations.

In my tutoring sessions, I emphasize a tailored approach, recognising that each child possesses unique learning needs and preferences. As a tutor specialising in mathematics, primary school subjects, and political science, I blend a variety of teaching methods in order to cater to diverse learning styles.

Each lesson is structured to incorporate interactive components, such as problem-solving exercises for maths, engaging discussions for political science, and hands-on activities for primary subjects. This dynamic format ensures that lessons remain interesting and relevant, fostering a deeper understanding and keen retention of the material.

I developed a keen insight into effective pedagogical strategies during my time as an outdoor instructor, and in my previous experience tutoring. I prioritize creating an encouraging and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to explore ideas and ask questions. My approach is flexible, adapting the pace and techniques based on student feedback and progress.

Ultimately, my aim is to empower students by providing them with the tools and confidence they need to excel academically and think critically, preparing them for future educational challenges.
