Lewis Bean

I am a diligent, industrious and articulate theology postgraduate seeking a career as a Teacher with a passion for educating others and learning along the way. I meticulously ensure that lesson plans are not only produced well in advance, but the final product is of a high standard of quality that is easily accessible to both teacher and student. I’ve worked alongside children, young people and vulnerable adults in various situations, including education, patiently and attentively tailoring my lessons to best fit their needs.

I have worked with multiple English teaching agencies before, including EF English First, SAVTE, NativeCamp, LearnEnglishMate and Preply, all of which gave me new experiences and wisdom with how to teach. Most particularly, since September last year, I have been teaching in classrooms at secondary schools as a cover supervisor, giving me vital in person experience with students of different ages and needs. I can work either in a classroom or in one-on-one settings depending on the needs of my learners, and having worked with clients from a variety of different countries, I am aware of the different values and sensibilities people may have before they come to learning, and as a result, I am happy to learn from these new experiences myself.

I possess both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Theology affiliated with the University of Manchester, and I am also TEFL qualified with a 120 hour course involving both online work and lectures as well as another 40 hour online teaching course. In addition to this, I am soon to qualify as a PGCE teacher, with the resulting Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) applying internationally and further enhancing my ability to teach and manage lessons and planning!
