I am currently a fourth-year student studying a BSc Hons in Biochemistry and Microbiology, I have gained a profound understanding of these two disciplines throughout my academic experience. I am always keeping up to date on new advances in the industry. I achieved a distinction in my first year of studies and a merit in my second year and third year. During my years at university, I developed strong skills in practical laboratories, problem solving. Key subjects I studied during my years at university Being a Biomolecular Scientist, Foundation Biomolecular Sciences: Organisms and Diseases, Bio-organic Chemistry, Fundamental Microbiology, Fundamental Biochemistry, Advanced Microbiology, Advanced Biochemistry, Biomedical Biochemistry and Biomedical Microbiology.

I approach teaching and learning with a "breakdown of concepts" mindset, breaking down difficult concepts in smaller parts first, and once smaller parts are understood more concepts can be added for a deeper understanding. University required many hours of self study in which helped me develop reliable study methods that have aided my understanding of biological sciences. Another approach to learning and teaching I have learnt is picking out concepts that are more challenging and focusing on and practicing them.
Dynamics of the lessons will start off with topics that the student has difficulty with and I will focus on the break down of the topic into smaller sections. I will insure any loose ends are tied in knowledge in the topic and questions are 100% welcome if explanations are not understood. I will also aid learning by creating practice questions.
