I will use written modules, with images relevant to the topic under discussion. It will start with the basics, such as what biology is and the principles of the scientific method. From then on, different biological topics will be covered, including genetics, evolution, ecology, and the interactions between humanity and the natural world. I will try to cite and give anyone interested helpful ways of finding more information.

I will try to be highly informative, but will also try to present the content in a way that is hopefully undertstandable to beginners. At the end of each module will be a multiple choice quiz testing students on what they have learned about the topic in question.

If anyone has any trouble in understanding anything covered in the lessons, I am willing to answer questions. If anyone feels more clarity is needed in lesson material, I am willing to try to address such issues.

I have had an interest in the natural sciences, especially zoology and palaeontology, since I was a child. I have a Bachelors degree in zoology and ecology, a Graduate Certificate in the same, and a Bachelors degree in palaeontology. I have experience in working both in the lab and in the field. This has included activities such as transect surveys, and trapping small animals at various sites in Queensland, Australia. I have also conducted palaeontological excavation at Wellington Caves in New South Wales, Australia, where I excavated, sorted and cleaned fossil remains more than 40,000 years old.
